This board is made out of exotic Katalox wood, which grows primarily in Southern Mexico, Central America, and northern South America. All wood is natural and not stained. It is coated with food-grade mineral oil for a finish. Resin epoxy is also food-grade. It is not recommended to use these boards as cutting boards, since wood and resin may get scratched easily.
