This board is made out of exotic Illawarra Flame Tree wood, which grows primarily in the tropical and subtropical regions on the east coast of Australia. All wood is natural and not stained. It is coated with food-grade mineral oil for a finish. Resin epoxy is also food-grade. It is not recommended to use these boards as cutting boards, since wood and resin may get scratched easily.
