This board is made out of spalted maple wood, which grows in Asia, Europe, northern Africa, and North America. All wood is natural and not stained. It is coated with food-grade mineral oil for a finish. Resin epoxy is also food-grade. It is not recommended to use these boards as cutting boards, since wood and resin may get scratched easily.
